I recently moved into the complex and everything has been amazing! My move was very last minute, but the leasing team went above and beyond to ensure I could move in as soon as possible. The maintenance team is very friendly as well! Huge shoutout to Morgan on the leasing team for being so awesome!

I went to see these apartment homes and met with Raymond and Latiera. They truly were amazing to work with and very professional. They answered all of my questions with the most care. I would highly recommend this community for anyone looking for a new home.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars as Volta is deserving of being recognized for the way in which management has handled, what was, a challenging building. Roze is an excellent manager so it is great to see the community in such great hands!

I went to check out the apartment and felt really welcomed by Morgan and Roze. Morgan is so sweet, she was really patient and took the time showed me as much as she could. Roze was very accommodating and approachable Manager. Overall, I felt very welcomed and it felt cozy.

Our building has definitely faced some major challenges over the last few years, and it's been tough to stomach, especially with management teams being cycled through so quickly as well. However, we genuinely can't say enough good things about the current team in charge, specifically, Roze and Ray! And I can't stress this enough - they had their hands FULL the moment they took charge of our building. From dealing with unruly tenants to unhappy tenants, to addressing all the constant break ins and broken amenities in the building, they have done more in their few weeks here to fix all of these issues than any other team was able to accomplish in a full year of being here. Roze, our new Property Manager, has been especially transparent and hard at work cleaning up messes that were existent months before his time working here. Somehow, he's done it all with grace and a smile, and we love that he values that transparency over false and empty promises. As some others have commented previously, many of these issues have been a result of the building's own residents, and even those cases are being dealt with as swiftly as possible for the rest of our peace of mind. It's been a breath of fresh air feeling safe and comfortable in our building again, and seeing that the staff really cares about seeing the happiness of its tenants once again. Greystar, you genuinely owe Roze, Ray, and their staff members (shoutout to Julio and Jose from the maintenance team!) the world for turning our building back around from literal disaster. We hope we can keep saying only good things about the building as time goes on, especially with these two angels in charge!

I’ve been a resident since 2022 and have seen so many changes in the leasing office. There are plenty of older reviews describing the nightmare that has been Volta on Pine for a few years, but I want to leave a kudos to the new team for their efforts to get Volta back on track. Things have greatly improved since they took over and like another resident said in another review, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they’re working diligently to make things better. Hopefully, things will continue to improve.

Had a very thorough and good tour with Latie recently. She was very professional and personable. She explained very well that new management was taking over and making positive changes in the apartments.

Volta has been probably the best management I’ve worked with. Personally I have only had very respectful and professional experiences with Roze, and Ray. Jose and Julio have also been a huge part of making not only myself but my family feel heard and taken care of. New management has definitely been a tremendous help. Rosa Lee is truly one of the best community managers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. His consistently goes above and beyond for the residents, demonstrating genuine care, professionalism, and dedication. Since his joined the property, I’ve felt a noticeable difference—it’s the first time in a long while that I’ve been able to truly take a breath and feel at ease knowing the community is in capable hands. His presence has made a meaningful impact, and it’s clear his passionate about creating a positive living experience for everyone.

Having visited Volta's leasing office today, I wanted to leave a good review about the manager for the first time, and specifically about Ray Lewis! I have never seen such a professional approach! Without any fluff, with clear questions and an understanding of what the client needs! Without playing around or, on the contrary, a sour face, it was nice to make a deal!!! 5 stars

The recent change in management has been a breath of fresh air! Roze, the manager, has only been here for like a month, but the impact is already noticeable. The community looks cleaner and more cared for, and it’s clear he genuinely cares. We’re excited to see how our community continues to improve!

My 5 Stars definitely go to the newest Property Manager Jayvon and Senior Regional Manager Khristina! I have lived at Volta for roughly 4 years and have encountered my fare share of frustration with both titles at Volta! These two amazing human beings came into their positions and hit the ground running with responsiveness, support, taking the TIME to listen followed by solutions and for once put their residents before themselves! Without going into detail, i can’t express my gratitude and how supportive this experience with them in office just shy of 2 weeks, has been. Volta has had and has its challenges and frustrations (which will take time to repair) but both of them are tackling each day gracefully and with purpose! That’s all i can ask for. I’m so appreciative! Thank you Jayvon and Khristina! Keep doing what you’re doing! Making a difference, FINALLY!

Volta on Pine is in one of the best spots in Long Beach – right in the heart of downtown. You’re walking distance from the great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, but the building still feels like a quiet, comfortable escape from the hustle and bustle. Greystar recently took over management, and while transitions can be a bit bumpy, it’s clear that they’re bringing a more organized and responsive approach. You can already start to feel the difference. I’m optimistic about the direction things are heading in and excited to see the improvements continue. Overall, I highly recommend Volta to anyone looking to live in a vibrant, walkable part of Long Beach in a beautiful space that’s only getting better.

I toured here with a friend and it was truly one of the best tours I have had. The staff is so amazing and attentive. I am looking forward to moving in soon. I loved the location and how nice the apartments were. The management staff was so helpful and friendly. They are truly why I want to move in as well. It is so hard to find a friendly staff at most of these buildings in this area. Looking forward to being a resident here.

It's been a great experience so far. My apartment is great and usually find myself hanging out in the Rooftop Terrace and the Sky Lounge. Maintenance is very responsive and the office staff is very friendly!

I am potentially a future Volta resident, so like any person with common sense, I've looked over the reviews. I have had the pleasure of meeting Daniel. I was given an unscheduled tour and I received first class treatment. The apartment and building in its entirety was breathtaking. The leasing staff has been communicating with me throughout the application process and been extremely helpful. One of the elevators was being repaired while I was there but other than that...5 Stars. ( After any length of usage all elevators need to be serviced )

Expensive, but units and amenities are nice. Sky deck, clubhouse w/pool table, amenity deck, pool, hot tub, bbqs, gym. There's parcel rooms but packages still get stolen time to time. New management (2025) is working on addressing that. Elevators often broken. Recently spoke to an elevator tech working on the elevators in building B, said manufacturer is no longer in business and parts can be hard to source. Fire alarm will go off from time to time, usually people just being dumb; it's annoying every time, but at least good fire protection measures are in place, i.e. sprinklers and fire doors. Typical pet rent (I forget the exact $ at the moment). All keys are non-duplicatable fobs (trust me, people have tried), and they won't issue more than one per person (which means I've locked myself out more times than I want to admit). Mostly decent views, though the ocean is just out of sight. Rent is paid through Bilt app. Rite Aid, and lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Parking $75/mo per space. Outdoor pet relief area with baggies and trash bin. Noise isn't bad, though it's DTLB so you will need to just block out or embrace the sirens. Edit: New management has implemented a phone app that can be used to unlock your door in the even you don't have your fob. Elevators have been working well for a while. They are also working to beef up security around the garages, which is a bit of a relief. Every manager/front office person, and maintenance person I've interacted with has been great, and they are working toward having someone there 24/7, rather than just during 9-6 office hours, and having real staff on the weekends instead of temps. 👍

straight to the point. since the new change in staff i have seen a great transition. the new manager Daniel has a whole new staff and i think they do great. The cleaning crew has made my social experience great The elevators are cleaner, the sky lounge is cleaner and my building always smells great i have no issues with that. The maintenance team (Trey Luis and Julio)has gotten to my work orders in a timely matter, which actually surprised me how fast they get that done. Daniel has made sure i get ALL my questions answered even if its at a later date and has made sure we get it taken care of at our scheduled appointment. From questions about my ledger down to a new parking spot. All in all i think volta is a great place to stay and would definitely recommend my friend or family to live here as well.

Since moving in to Volta my experience has been pleasant and positive. We have a new management team, cleaning team and maintenance team as well. Cleaning staff are always clean and making sure the complex is clean an smelling good. Also the maintenance team do their very best to get the work orders done in a timely manner with the best possible outcome. Daniel who is the new manager of the building has been nothing but great. He makes sure that our concerns are heard while gives the best possible answers to our questions or any concerns that might arise. Even though the new management team are fairly new they give it there all to make improvements and positive changes to the buildings.

I'd like to say, from the moment my girlfriend and I inquired about living here till now our experience has been great. Sonia Stacy and Constance have all been great with any issues we've come across. Stacey even came up and personally fixed a maintenance issue. The Volta staff has been great in my opinion, would definitely recommend a family member or friend to live here. Especially if I know they have animals, the ladies are always very happy to see not only my dog but others aswell. (They got the snack hook ups)

I had the pleasure of working with Sonia to coordinate my move from out of town, and I couldn’t be more impressed with her professionalism, superb communication, and accommodating spirit. Sonia is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. She made the entire moving process seamless and stress-free. Since moving in, Sonia has continued to brighten my days with her infectious laughter and genuine interest in my well-being. She’s also become quite fond of my dog—whenever I bring him in from a walk, she’s there with a treat and a warm greeting. If you’re looking for a great place to live in Long Beach, I highly recommend Volta on Pine. And if you get the chance to work with Sonia, you're in excellent hands!!

I love this place! Volta! Experience here is great! With great views from my balcony. I get to see the sunrise and the sunset. Sarah, Constance, Sonia! Front office is super helpful, welcoming and great energy. I feel like I live in a resort with all the amenities. Super happy living here.

I moved in within 2 days of getting approved, so it’s understandable that everything wasn’t exactly as expected. They had to finish cleaning the place properly, but they were very responsive and quick. I’d give them a 8/10 on cleaning. They didn’t clean inside the cabinets and replaced a piece on the wood floor without shining the wood, so it sticks out like a sore thumb. Also, the faucet in the bathroom is disgusting when you look at the drain where the water comes out. Most people miss that part but I always check because it often goes unnoticed. Overall, I’m happy — but paying the money we do I’d like to see top tier service. In good news, the amenities are beautiful; the hot tub and rooftop terrace is amazing.

Volta on pine has been great since moving in, from all the office staff to maintenance staff everyone is profesional and so helpful, grounds and hallways are always clean and well kept. I love how everything is walking distance from Volta on pine, I would definitely move here again. Would recommend to everyone that wants to live in a clean and quiet property.

Volta on pine was such a great living experience. The apartment was a great place to call home while I was here. I have to say the staff here was very helpful and amazing. Jessica was really helpful in helping us find the best living situation at the time and was very helpful with all our needs while living there. Every time I had a Maintenance requested —which was not often—it was handled in a timely manner. This place is great to live and the area is a good area also. Basically could use my bike and go just about anywhere. They offer parking spots but the bike was just nice to use and visit all around the area. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to live with a gym, pool and awesome sky lounge. More than anything though i really enjoyed always having someone there when i needed calcification or just the peace of mind to know there was always a friendly staff ready to attend my needs. This property was absolutely beautiful when I first toured. Anely & Jessica were very helpful answering my questions and my move in process. Had a few incidents where residents inform me how bad the property is due to safety reasons, and it’s sad how grown ups don’t allow the ladies do their job. The property has nothing to do with the ladies but the ladies really bought me with their kindness. Although, I see a lot of reviews in regard crime - YOU LIVE AT downtown Long Beach it’s expected to see homeless people and break ins. Literally San Francisco is being torn down by many of these incidents. This place so far has been great and Kayla, leasing agent has been very responsive with my emails. I rather have someone care and be responsive rather than someone ignoring us

I’ve had a great experience at Volta thus far. The staff, especially Anely Flores, have been helpful with processing work orders and everything else that has come up during my time here. The amenities are lovely and the price is great considering what’s included.

My fiance and I are recent tenants, and so far we've been really happy with the space! Anelly was a HUGE help to us since the start, and even helped set up multiple tours for us over the last couple of months of searching. She was also super thoughtful about checking in with us, which ended up being a big factor when we moved! We've even seen her around the building dropping off residents' packages straight to their door, which I think is a really thoughtful extra measure their staff's been taking to help prevent package theft despite their schedules already being pretty packed. The cleaning and maintenance teams have also been really on top of it. Our building, elevator, and hallways always smell and look clean despite being an incredibly pet-friendly space, and maintenance (Jose) fixed all of our minor work orders within the first few days of moving in. Jessica was also a huge help to my partner when he realized another tenant was parking in our spot, and she made sure we weren't without one in the process of moving over. And of course, the apartment itself is clean, spacious, and beautiful. And it's a nice perk being so close to downtown while also being justtt far enough that we don't get too much of the noise. Couldn't be more grateful for the new space!

Love living here! Apartments have the best kitchens I've seen in Long Beach and are sizable. Gym is great and on site staff are friendly and helpful.

I recently moved in to Volta on Pine a couple months ago. Jessica the the Property manager was incredibly nice and professional. She was super helpful from the first moment we met. She made sure my move was smooth and easy, she also helped place me in a unit that was perfectly suited for me and my dog. Another bonus is their super dog friendly, beautiful pool for summer, and fully equipped state of the art Gym. The prices are really good considering they are in the heart of Downtown Longbeach. I recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a beautiful cozy home. 🙌🏻☀️👏

Move in was a great and smooth transition. The management staff, Jessica and Macy were extremely friendly, helpful, and were available and ensured my unit was move-in ready. I am really happy with my beautiful apartment! It is modern and spacious with an exceptional panoramic view of downtown Long Beach, the Vincent Thomas bridge, and all southwest Los Angeles! I can even see the downtown LA skyline! Let's not forget the beautiful sunset I get to see everyday! Very happy with my decision at Volta! 😊

Just moved in on the 5th and so far so good, every inch of this place is clean and seems pretty secure which is conforting. Leasing staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I've been blessed with a nice unit with a nice view. UNFORTUNATELY it is an apartment complex meaning you share the complex with other inconsiderate people. I don't think it's the building (like insulated walls to block out noise)so much as it is my neighbors just being really loud. Upstairs neighbors can be heard just a lil bit when they walk around but BOTH my next door neighbors have their tv's volume all the way up with one neighbor having surround sound. So other than the inconsiderate people I live next to the complex as a whole is nice.

I met with Tyra in the leasing office. She was so friendly, personable, and kind. She was very informative and really assisted me around the apartment complex. She educated me on all the bedroom floor plans and amenities. She presented the leasing options in a easy to follow manner. She also followed up with me afterward. Really showed how organized their leasing office is.

The complex is very beautiful. I especially enjoy the proximity of the restaurants; no need to drive too far for my favorite restaurants. The beach is also not too far which is a big plus! The staff is very accommodating and professional. Overall would recommend it!

There is an annoying package thief problem, especially since a majority of my packages won't get delivered into the parcel pending system. Staff has acted on this and there is a system that will alleviate this, the place has been smelling better and looking cleaner as well ! The staff team are also very friendly and nice people who take concerns seriously and are on top of things!

Toured the Volta yesterday with the fine Tyler Franklin. I was already approved and ready to sign with another complex, but Tyler sold me on the Volta. The place is beautiful, but even more important to me was the great vibe and community feel I got.
